earn 8% on regular saver from first direct, 1st Account, regular savings account

just found out about a great deal from First Direct, thanks to Love Money, a lot of information on Love Money's website here: Earn 8% on your savings!

    The Regular Savers Account:
    first direct Regular Saver Account

you must have a 1st Account:
    1st Account | first direct

Is there a charge to bank with first direct?
Banking with first direct usually costs £10 a month, but it's free when you pay in at least £1,500 to your 1st Account each month, or maintain an average monthly 1st Account balance of £1,500, or hold a selected first direct additional product.

Hi there THISTLEKICKER I know little about it but from what I can see it's as follows:
Sole account holders only. Only one account per person

    depositig:
you can start from £25 and add up to £300 in the first month, then the amount you can deposit each month goes up by £300, but you still only have to put in £25 if you want to.

    so option 1:
    month 1: £25, month 2: £25, month 3: £25

    edit option 2:
    month 1: £300, month 2: £600, month 3: £900

obviously if you've got a bit of cash you want to put away then getting to add a fair bit each month is a good idea. I mean by month 5 you're able to deposit £1500! That's great to get 8% on in these current times. Just wish I had more cash at present!

sorry for the late reply had to read up on it first.

    regards
    Gav
