Santander are still offering the best interest rate for those with less than £25,000, however if you've got £25,000+ to save then check this thread:

as you can get instant access interest rate of 3.1% on savings over £25,000.

There is also: Poppy Online Saver | Online Savings Account | Coventry Building Society which gives 3.1% interest rate however it only gives you 4 penalty free withdrawals each year, so I won't list it as the best instant access savings account, but it's very worth a look if you don't need your money on a regular basis!
