    5 year fixed rate savings highest interest rate 4.7% Yorkshire and Clydesdale Bank.

    This week we see two financial institutions, Yorkshire Bank and Clydesdale Bank offering the highest interest rate for a 5 year fixed term savings account with an interest rate of 4.7% find out more here:

    Yorkshire Bank information: Term Deposit - Personal Savings - Personal Banking - Yorkshire Bank Our Term Deposit account is ideal if you want to put away a lump sum – as long as you don’t want to make any withdrawals or additional deposits.
    Main features

    • Guaranteed interest rates - up to 5.16% Gross*/4.70% AER+ if held for the full 5 year term, minimum deposit £2,000
    • Range of savings terms – choose from 3, 6, 12, 18 and 40 months and 2, 3 and 5 years
    • Start from £2,000 – and save up to £5,000,000
    • Interest capitalised and paid annually, or on term maturity

    Withdrawals

    Yorkshire and Clydesdale banks are both still offering 4.7%, however also look into Kent Reliance another offering 4.7% and you only need to save from £1000!
