Main features of the account

• No minimum age (the account can be operated on behalf of a child).
• If the annual interest option is selected, interest will be credited to the account on 5 April each year and on maturity, with exception of one year bond, where interest will be credited to the account on maturity. If monthly interest is selected it will be paid away to a Bank/Building Society account on the last working day of each month.
• The minimum investment is £500 per bond (£10,000 for monthly interest) and the maximum is £1,000,000.
• No additional deposits or withdrawals under any circumstances during the term of the bond(s).
• We will write to you 10 days prior to the maturity of your fixed rate bond(s) notifying you of the end of your fixed rate.Your maturity balance will be transferred to a suitable product of our choosing on your maturity date unless we have received reinvestment or withdrawal instructions from you prior to maturity.
  
  If you requested a closure at maturity and you applied by post, your cheque will be posted to you on the second working day after maturity or the funds will be sent by bank transfer reaching your nominated account 5 working days after maturity.
