Seven Night Skiing Holiday in The French Alps at Hotel Les Grandes Rousses Including Meals and Equipment in a Double (£499pp), Four Person (£399pp) or Six Person Room (£299pp)

While some epic ice battles involve snow ball showdowns, angel making competitions and fire-escape sledging, some are a simple matter of unsticking chill-curious tongues. Stay cosy with today’s Groupon from Take Me To (Ski). Choose from the following options:

£499pp for a seven night skiing holiday in Hotel Les Grandes Rousses in a double room

£399pp for a seven night skiing holiday in Hotel Les Grandes Rousses in a four person room

£299pp for a seven night skiing holiday in Hotel Les Grandes Rousses in a six person room

Perched on the mountainside overlooking the Alpe d’Huez resort, the Hotel Grandes Rousses is perfectly placed for ski-in ski-out ease and getting straight down to business on the slopes. With a heated pool, hot tub and sauna in the hotel, and access to all spa facilities, there’s also ample opportunity for après ski with bars and restaurants nearby, as well as an ice rink and toboggan run for ski-free ice-tivities. The wooden chalet-style hotel offers a buffet brekkie, afternoon tea to calm post-slope belly rumbles, and a three course evening meal including 2 free drinks each.

Geared up skiers can bunk up in groups of two, four or six, enjoying eight days on the slopes and seven nights in shared rooms. Ski passes can be snapped up from the hotel, and ski, boot, pole and helmet hire is free for three days, or for the seasoned snow junkie, free plane carriage of equipment can be arranged. For bookings in the first two weeks of the season, two hours of tuition is thrown in, and even airport pick-up can be arranged, meaning that everything is organised pre-holiday and travellers can focus on keeping toasty and building snow people. Upgrades are available in the shape of £50pp extra for a superior room, or a south facing premium room with a balcony for £150pp.

Reviews

TripAdvisor users gave an average score of 3.5/5, while comments from Booking.com reviewers were also largely favourable. Further mention was given to the convenient proximity of the ski lifts.

Couldn't have asked for a better hotel. Reception were always there to help and spoke good English. The rooms were what i expected and perfect size for the amount of time we spent in there and the shower was amazingly powerful. The food was 4 courses every night and amazing, i had different fish as main for most evenings where as my partner nad [sic] meat and we both couldn't believe the quality we received

I received an upgrade and therefore a family room for myself! Room decor outdated but clean including the bathroom. Comfortable bedding (but I had a choice since 4 beds!). Very quiet. The TV worked well. Decent breakfast. [Google Translation]
