I sell all my old DVDs on Amazon (but obviously you have to sell them individually, not as a job lot!).
I've been asked what's the best way to sell second hand DVDs, by a friend who recently purchased a Blu-ray player and wants to upgrade most of his favourites to blu-ray. I have little knowledge in this sort of thing, by the time I get round to upgrading to the latest technology 90% of the rest of the world have too and don't want my old VHS Star Wars tapes any more! Even the one's still in the packaging!
Items to suggest, there's always: Ebay
then there's CEX: CeX (UK) Buy & Sell Games, Phones, DVDs, Blu-ray, Electronics, Computing, Vision & CDs -on this website they tell you how much they pay for a DVD, Game, Blu-ray etc.
Payday Loans : Cheque Cashing : Payday Advance : Pawnbroking : Second hand goods :: from Cash Converters - cash converters, but they don't say how much they pay, from what I've read it's usually between 10p and £1 for a good DVD. Some have said up to £6 for a box set.
Car Boot Sales - Car Boot Search (UK) - Car Boot Sales, often see DVDs at a cost £1 to £5 on tables at car boot sales, but it does cost to sell at these places, the local one in Edinburgh at the corn exchange, you can get a Table for £2: Car Boot Sales - Midlothian
you could always give them away free, through something like Freecycle - Scotland groups or to the plethora of charity shops now lining almost every small high street.
Best Deal: Odeon Cinema tickets from as little as £5, UK deal: Cheap Cinema

Thanks Leela, I had completly forgotten about amazon for selling, Amazon.co.uk: DVD & Blu-ray: TV box sets, children's movies, action films, horror, comedy, world cinema & more is a brilliant way of selling them, can often get good prices and must admit their setup is better than ebay!

I go to CEX and trade them in for others you don't get much though.
