Tesco is cutting some of the rewards under its Clubcard loyalty programme to maintain a beefed-up version of the scheme that has been running for the past year.
Tesco said it was scaling down the level of rewards available from partner organisations, such as restaurants, hotels and leisure attractions, to enable it to continue offering the 15m Clubcard holders “double points” on their purchases.
This means that £10 of Clubcard vouchers could be exchanged for £30 in partner rewards, such as at PizzaExpress, rather than £40 previously.
