Video recorder/ video-dvd combo

My Video player has recently packed in, and I am trying to locate a replacement player, at a reasonable price... Unfortunately the only ones that I can find are over £200.

If anybody can help me to locate a Video Player or even better a Video/ DVD combo player, it would be greatly appreciated.

I know this is on the pricy side, especially for a refurbished model, but maybe an idea as it's a VHS tape to DVD recorder: Toshiba RDXV59DT DVD Recorder / VCR Combi With 250GB Hard Drive / Freeview - Electronics at Play.com (UK) maybe able to sell on after copying all old VHS over.

other idea is try and find one of those TV shops that look like they still have TVs in their front window from 1975 as they often have second hand VCRs for about £10 to £20. however they're closing down fast. I think there's still one on South Clerk street Edinburgh, just south of the bridges.
