Buffalo 2TB DriveStation USB 2.0 Desktop Hard Drive, discount at Dabs, best price!

Hi there, just wondering if anyone's tried the Buffalo 2TB DriveStation USB 2.0 Desktop Hard Drive as I noticed that from this page: Buffalo 2TB DriveStation USB 2.0 Desktop Hard Drive (HD-LB2.0TU2-UK) - dabs.com Dabs have it for £92.99 if you use their voucher code (listed on the site in green). It seems like a decent harddrive but I've pretty much always used Lacie, WD or Freecom, but I'm after a cheap drive at the moment and £10 to £50 is a pretty big difference for 2TB!

The unique chassis design may be placed vertically or horizontally. With auto installation, Memeo AutoBackup Software (Download Memeo AutoBackup) and SecureLockWare support, the DriveStation is a plug and play secure and reliable USB backup and storage solution.

Harddrive arrived today, first impression from case very cheap and flimsy. Currently transferring 980GB onto the 2TB harddrive over a USB 2 port, it says it's going to take roughly 17 hours to do this. will let you know how it goes and continue my review as I use it.

Currently transferring at 16.2MB/s to 16.3, but my other ones using the USB 2 connection often get up to 40MB/s, maybe size of files, will keep an eye on it.
