Following another successful year in 2011, the 2012 brochure is by far the largest yet, with even more properties available, exclusively in the picturesque sailing town of Salcombe, the historic maritime town of Dartmouth and the surrounding coast and countryside. New properties include 9 Prospect House, a luxury penthouse apartment with stunning cliff top views, and Apartment 1 At the Beach, a fabulous property just yards from the beach at Slapton Sands. Also newly available for 2012 is the elegant country house, Holset House. The quality of the properties in the 2012 brochure is exceptional, with all new cottages in the portfolio achieving a minimum Four Star standard. In addition to the regular in-house property inspections, many properties have been assessed by VisitBritain, under its National Quality Scheme. Several have achieved Five Stars, with many gaining the coveted Gold status.

The South Devon based agency has more than doubled in size since being acquired by Andrew and Karen Jones in 2001, with the property portfolio increasing from just under 200 properties, to just over 425 properties in the region, and the team growing from three people to 27. Coast & Country Cottages now see in excess of 35,000 people holidaying in its properties each year. Indeed, the agency is reporting that 2011 was its 11th record breaking year in succession in terms of weeks sold.
