This is the official thread for the PGL COD:BO War!

TONIGHT IS OPENING NIGHT!! 11 PM EASTERN!
The plan for tonight is to definitely get in as many games as possible, see how far we can get. Its going to be a tight squeeze with this only taking 3 weeks, but I know we can do it. I've got a preliminary schedule of games just written down that we can follow which will give us a bunch of team deathmatches, a couple domination and a couple headquarters. Which will require us playing some maps a couple times, but we've got most of them covered for match #1. Hope everyone is psyched up and ready to play. I'm already on XBL, so if anyone has any questions before 11, find me there.

Each team has 10 regulars and a list of mercenaries that can fill in if need. I know we aren't all available every night, but we should be able to field 8 v 8 every Friday.


RULES

1. Have fun

2. This war will be 3 weeks in December. Friday night December 3rd, 10th and 17th, beginning at 11 pm Eastern. Starting an hour earlier than the last war, but trying to do it in less time, I want to get as many games in one night as possible.

3. There are 14 maps that we will be fighting over.

4. Teams will play a best of 5 matches to take ownership of the map. Once a team has won three matches, they take ownership.

5. Each map has 5 matches, in a certain gametype order:
Match 1 - Team Deathmatch
Match 2 - Domination
Match 3 - Headquarters
Match 4 - Capture the Flag
Match 5 - Team Deathmatch

6. Matches will be played in regular mode with HQ, Domination and CTF being played under the default rules.

7. Let's try and not play through the whole 5 match map in one night. But it will be harder if we are trying to play through the whole war in 3 weeks.

8. War ends once all maps have ownership by one team and the winner will be the team with the ownership of the most maps. If by chance the war ends in a tie, the winner will be the team with the most wins in the Headquarters gametype. If you guys somehow manage to tie in that, its a tie, deal with it.
