took me a bit of searching to find out how to turn off safety lock enabled, my TomTom GPS was accidently turned on in the glove compartment of my car and some how the safety lock turned on.

To turn it off it seems that you have to reset the TomTom GPS, to do this you need a paper clip or something similar and then find the hole with reset written next to it. press this in and it resets the GPS, as far as I can tell this is the only way to do it.

The home settings stayed the same and other such settings all seemed to stay intact.
