did anyone happen to catch this show? I thought it was rather useless and gave no new tips, it's definitely no working lunch: BBC NEWS | Programmes | Working Lunch
Sadly working lunch is going to be ending soon, I hope this is not the sort of show the BBC is going to replace working lunch with, it's generic money saving tips in a very poor format with presenters that looked awkward as if they didn't know what the guests were talking about.
I really hope the BBC roll back the plan to stop working lunch!

the third moneywatch program from 21st of July is now viewable online: BBC - BBC Two Programmes - How to Beat Tough Times: Money Watch, Growing It
I didn't feel the series offered any real advice that isn't easily available and repeated ad nauseum, compare that to working lunch, BBC NEWS | Programmes | Working Lunch, which has been giving really good advice in a mix of the easy things to do every day, those covered by moneywatch, the slightly more helpful suggestions for those that know enough already and have done everything covered in moneywatch, and then they'd offer the more out there money advice which may not help most but it helped a fair few and maybe got people thinking about things.
I used to do a lot of transactions with the US and through working lunch I found out about nationwide's credit cards and accounts that offered commision free foreign currency payments. Sadly nationwide charge for the US now, but due to working lunch I saved an absolute packet, even though I'd been using a cheap option it wasn't free and the exchange rates were no where near as good as nationwide!
Thanks working lunch, be interested to see what BBC do for financial shows next.
