Thread: megabus - cheap good quality travel

yes megabus is great but recently national express offers great prices as well :-)

I'll have to check them out. I tried to use citylink Citylink :: Green Thinking, Citylinking to go for a return to glasgow, but my return bus left 15minutes early (I was there 12 minutes before it was meant to leave and the security told me), the bus driver on the next bus wouldn't let me on with the return ticket. very frustrating! I had to pay full price to get on the bus... yet three girls who were in the same predicament talked the bus driver into letting them on free.

the bus then left 5 minutes early so other people probably had the same problem.

I complained to citylink, but they told me they wouldn't do anything. I haven't used them since. went and got a car instead! much cheaper than the bus over a long period if you get a decent 2nd hand one.
