In the Cash Savings department The Post Office have stopped their best instant access savings, but Santander have picked up the slack offering 2.9%, 1 year fixed term savings has also changed with the AA offering 3.4%. 2 and 3 year fixed interest rates savings stay the same, with the 5 year going to The Principality Building Society.

As for Credit Cards there was little change with Barclaycard Platinum increasing their interest free balance transfer period from 17 months to 18 months, other than that everything stayed the same. On the cheap Personal Loans front we see Alliance & Leicester drop their lending interest rate from 7.2% to 7.1% making them the current best buy for cheap UK personal loans.
