Bootstraps Barossa Valley Shiraz:
Luxuriant, jam-packed fruit, heaped with oodles of cassis, blackcurrant, blackberry and morello cherry. The architect is Peter Leske, the former winemaker at Nepenthe - one of the top estates in Australia. With a vast international experience spanning vintages in California, Domaines Dujac in Burgundy and Alain Graillot in the Rhône, Leske is a master. And you can taste his vast knowledge in this awe-inspiring Shiraz.

The Seven Rows Petit Verdot 2010
A new departure for the super-talented Jacques Kruger, formerly the big man at Blaawklippen, Seven Rows Petit Verdot takes its name from a small cluster of vines at the very top corner of his award winning Pinotage vineyard. Nobody knows quite how they got there - Jacques' theory is that the nursery supplying the vines made a mistake when the vineyard was first planted - but for years they've just been harvested along with the Pinotage.

Karu Estate Rapel Syrah 2009
A stunning offering from Chile which is phenomenal value for money. You can sit back and rest easy when you taste this gem. Full of boisterous fruit with a hint of spice. This embodies all the qualities that have made Chilean wines so popular.

Il Capitolo Montepulciano Sangiovese Merlot NV
This exciting Italian red brings together three world-famous grape varieties with the aim simply to create an uncomplicated easy drinking red suitable for all occasions. We often find that the wines available to us can be hard going - whether they be too heavy, too tannic or any combination of the other hundreds of reasons why some wines just don't work!

Monos Locos Merlot 2009
This Merlot has the distinction of being rated 4 Stars from the day our customers first tasted it - quite an achievement for a wine costing less than £7 a bottle. Fruity, friendly and far too drinkable, it is also full bodied enough to be a serious food wine. For a stunning combination serve our Monos Locos Sauvignon Blanc before the meal and this Merlot when the food gets on the table.

Rio Zancara Tempranillo 2009
Tempranillo is without doubt the king of Spanish varietals and is the major component, giving the wines backbone, in the production of the best Riojas. Rio Zancara is a modern, easy drinking red that is ideal for all occasions, the unexpected visitor or the annual family gathering. The great thing about this wine is its uncomplicated nature, just heaps of Tempranillo's classic strawberry flavours and a soft juicy mouth-feel. A genuine value wine rack essential!
